Christi Trammell
Age: 32
Residency: Gentry, 12 years
Family: Husband, Jeff; two children
Employment: Project manager for R&R Solutions in Gravette
Education: 33 hours from NorthWest Arkansas Community College
Military experience: None
Political experience: Gentry Parks and Recreation Committee
Reason for candidacy: As I was trying to put words together to explain my reason for running for city council the old phrase “If you want something done, you have to do it yourself” came to mind. I am running to be an advocate for the citizens of Gentry, plain and simple.
Goals in office: Improve the water systems for the community, which will in turn lower our ISO fire rating and lower our homeowners’ insurance. I would also like to see continued improvement with our streets and drainage, as well as our parks and green spaces. Look for funding opportunities to provide our police department with a much needed, more secure facility. It is my number one goal to bridge the communication gap between the city council and the citizens of Gentry.
