CASA Receives Grants

— Court Appointed Special Advocates of Northwest Arkansas Inc. has received several grants this summer and fall to help the agency carry out its work of giving a voice to children in foster care.

CASA received a $10,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, the charitable arm of UPS. The grant will be used to update the technology infrastructure at theagency’s off ce.

The Walmart Foundation awarded CASA of NWA a $34,838 grant to support the recruitment, training and retention of 25 new volunteers, which will directly impact over 75 children in the next two years.

CASA of Northwest Arkansas is a nonprofit agency in which trained volunteers work with foster children to ensure their needs are met and that their journey through foster care is as brief as possible.
