Chambers Takes Lead At Bella Vista Championship

Mark Chambers survived an up-and-down round Friday at the Bella Vista Country Club and will take a one-shot lead into the final round of the Bella Vista Village Men’s Championship. The tournament concludes today with the leaders teeing off around 9:30 a.m. Chambers shared the lead with Ryan Sumrall following a 4-under-par 68 in Thursday’s first round. He then overcame a double-bogey on the par-5 No. 12 hole to shoot an even-par 72 on Friday for a two-day total of 4-under 140. Former Rogers High golfer Jordan Daharsh fired a 5-under 67 on Friday and trails Chambers by one stroke at 3-under 141. Daharsh opened the tourney with a 2-over 74. Sumrall (142) and Bob Brooks ...
