SPRINGDALE — Springdale elementary and middle school offices will open Monday.
Students can enroll at the offices from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The first day of classes is Aug. 19.
The schools closed in July because their principals work on 11-month contracts.
Marsha Jones, district associate superintendent, said parents who have recently moved to Springdale should enroll their children as soon as possible. Early registration helps administrators plan ahead and hire more teachers if needed, she said.
The school district has 16 elementary schools and three middle schools.
Children must register at the school in their attendance zone. Call the district transportation office, 750-8830, for information about zone boundaries.
