Autism specialist and author Temple Grandin will speak on autism and animal behavior at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Pauline Whitaker Arena in Fayetteville.
Grandin is a world renowned expert on autism. Her life was recently the subject of the HBO film Temple Grandin, and she has been featured on TV, in magazines and on public radio shows.
Grandin was diagnosed as autistic early in life, and she believes that autistic behavior can be modified and controlled. Grandin is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
The lecture is free and open to the public. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
