Car Show Set For Saturday

The Nash Back At Ya Car Show is scheduled for Saturday at 2205 W. Walnut St. in Rogers. Entry fee is $20.

All proceeds will go to the local humane society for animals of Benton County.

Registration is from 8 to 11 a.m. Awards will be distributed at approximately 2 p.m.

Green Reunion Slated Saturday

The Green Family Reunion will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Jones Center, 922 E. Emma Ave. in Springdale. Those attending are encouraged to bring their favorite food and memorabilia. Lunch will be at 1 p.m.

Bible School Begins Today

Vacation Bible school will be 6 to 8 p.m. today through Friday for all ages at Wesley United Methodist Church and Betel United Methodost Church, both located at 1520 W. Huntsville Ave. in Springdale.

Programs are designed for ages 3 through preteen as well as adult classes in English and Spanish.

Fayetteville Reunion Set For Weekend

The Fayetteville Reunion is an annual get-together of people with any kind of Fayetteville connection. Four events are planned, and no RSVP is required.

Events include:

6 to 9 p.m. Friday - happy hour at George’s Majestic Lounge (meet on the patio out back)

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday - picnic at Lake Wedington pavilion

6 to 10 p.m. Saturday - mixer at Jose’s on Dickson; the back room is reserved

2 to 6 p.m. Sunday - reunion concert at Jose’s, featuring Rex Rootz, No Control and John Lowe.

Clay Classes Set For Patients

A kickoff drop-in event for Clay for Cancer creative outlet is slated for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Northwest Arkansas Creative Community Center in the Nadine Baum Studios, at 505 W. Spring St. in Fayetteville.

The program is a free creative outlet for cancer survivors and their children, spouse, support person or caregiver.

A six-week series of clay and mosaic classes will begin from 10 a.m. to noon July 31.

Blood Drive Honors Pickering

A Community Blood Center of the Ozarks blood drive will take place Saturday at the Walmart Supercenter in Siloam Springs.

The drive will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and has been set up to honor the late Cody Pickering.

Trailblazers Hike Compton Trail

The Ozark Mountain Trailblazers will hike Compton Trail to Hemmed in Hollow Falls on Saturday.
