CONWAY — Central Arkansas football coach Clint Conque has admitted having an "inappropriate relationship," and has apologized to his family and asked for privacy.
Conque released a statement Tuesday saying he "made some poor personal decisions" in the past. Central Arkansas athletic director Brad Teague said in his own statement he supports the coach's efforts to rebuild his relationship with his family.
Teague said he looks forward to having Conque and his staff lead the Bears this fall.
Conque recently signed a new five-year contract with the school. He is entering his 11th season as Central Arkansas' coach, with a 73-43 record at the school.
