BENTONVILLE — The Heritage cross country teams had a successful trip to Texas this past weekend.
The War Eagles were eighth and the Lady War Eagles ninth at the Marcus Invitational meet in Flower Mound, Texas - a Dallas suburb.

(31st), Audrey Rodriguez (74th) and Kayla Floyd (79th) also scored.
Oscar Oralla was the top War Eagle to finish, taking 12th place in 16:50. Nathan McFarland ran his best race of the year and finished 38th overall in 17:24. Adam Yawn (47th), Mariano Mendez (58th) and Trevor Beutler (63rd) also scored.
