UA business hall names Jerry Jones, others

— Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is among the four businessmen who are to be inducted next year into the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame.

The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas announced the new class on Tuesday.

Joining Jones will be William Clark, of CDI Contractors in Little Rock, Jim Lindsey, a Fayetteville real estate developer, and Thomas "Tommy" May, of Simmons First National Bank in Pine Bluff.

Jones played football for the Razorbacks and made a fortune in oil and gas before buying the Cowboys. Clark's company built the Clinton Presidential Library, among other important structures.

Lindsey, also a former Razorback, has been a major player in the development of northwest Arkansas.
