FAYETTEVILLE

Mary Jean Blacksher, 86, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She was born June 22, 1923, in Springdale to Mack Trowbridge and Pearle Williams. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Joe Baker; and a sister, Jerry Jones.

Survivors include three sons, Mike Blacksher of Lowell, Jerry Blacksher of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Jim Blacksher of Upland, Calif.; a brother, John Trowbridge of Wichita,Kan.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ridgeview Baptist Church with the Rev. Charlie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Beards Chapel.

The family will receive friends at Beards Chapel from 4-6 p.m. Monday.

The family requests that memorials take the form of donations to the Fayetteville Senior Center, 945 S. College Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72701.

Lloyd R. Munson, 83, of Fayetteville died Saturday, Sept., 19, 2009.

Arrangements will be announced by Beard's Funeral Chapel of Fayetteville.

SPRINGDALE

Jack Ray Parker, 65, of Springdale died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at his home.

He was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Fayetteville to Thomas Ray and Jimmie Maxine Lollar Parker.

He was former owner of Jack's Pawn Shop in Fayetteville and Parker's Jewelry and Pawn as well as other local businesses. He was an avid car enthusiast and gun collector. He will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humor and loving nature.

He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Diane Parker of Bentonville and Mechille Rae Parker of Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Steven Brent Parker and his wife, Shelley, of Springdale; and two granddaughters, Chelsea and Tanner.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel with Dale Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1-2:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

GRAVETTE

Joseph Lee "Joe" Folk, 35, of Gravette died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, in Benton County.

He was born June 5, 1974, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Frank Folk and Donna Knuckles Folk Williams. He was a graduate of Decatur High School and was a mixer at McKee Baking in Gentry. He was a former postal carrier for Gentry and had been employed by Peterson Industries.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Williams of Gravette; a sister, Anita Turner of Gravette; two stepsisters, Julie Banres of Nashville, Tenn., and Shawna Chaffee of Grand Junction, Colo.; two stepbrothers, Scott Williams and Jeff Williams, both of Grand Junction, Colo.; and special friend, Loretta Johnson of Gentry.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Estes officiating. Burial will follow in Word Cemetery in Benton County.
