Charles Hudson Coonfield

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. -- Charles Hudson Coonfield, "C.H.", age 79, formerly of Rogers, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, in Waynesville, Mo. He was born April 18, 1930, to Virgil Coonfield and Vedah Jackson Coonfield.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and two brothers, Harold Lee and Clyde Wayne.

C.H. served in the Army 1956-1976. He retired in 1976 while stationed at Fort Leonard Wood in Waynesville, Mo.

He is survived by his former wife of 27 years, Dorothy Maloney Barr of Vilburman, Mo.; three sons, Chuck of Vilburman, Mo., Steve (wife Darlene) of St. Louis and Gary of Milwaukee; a daughter, Vickie of Laquey, Mo.; three granddaughters, a brother David (wife Beverly) of Rogers; and a sister, Mary Bayley of Rogers.

A memorial service was held in Waynesville on Friday, Nov. 27.

Services and memorial will be in Rogers at Benton County Memorial Park at 2 p.m. today, Nov. 28.

Mills Orfield Letsch

ROGERS -- Mills Orfield "M.O." Letsch, 86, of Rogers died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers.

M.O. was born Oct. 17, 1923, in Springdale to the late Dempsey O. Letsch and Murl (Head) Letsch.

Mills was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served during WWII. He retired from Jones Trucking after 25 years of employment. He was a member of VFW Post 3031.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Colleen Letsch.

Survivors include his loving wife, Elizabeth of the home; one son, David Letsch of Springdale, two stepsons, Ron Dirks of Rogers, and Lee Dirks of Rogers; one daughter, Dorothy Burnett of Castle Rock, Colo.; one stepdaughter, Diane Rust of Bixby, Okla.; one brother, Kenneth Letsch; two sisters, Marylou Scales and Loretta Jones; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Rollins Funeral Home.

Inurnment will follow at Rogers Cemetery.

Kenneth Bohannon

BENTONVILLE -- Kenneth Bohannon, age 86, of Bentonville died Nov. 25, 2009. He was born in Limestone on June 24, 1923, to the late Walter Frank and Gracie Curtis Bohannon.

He served his country during World War II and was a tech sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was in D Company, 782nd Tank Battalion and saw tours of duty in France and the European Theater of Operations. He retired from the U.S. Forestry Service where he was a machine operator and firefighter.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Bohannon of the home; a sister, Imojean Plumlee of Siloam Springs; several stepchildren and stepgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at the Deer School Gym in Deer officiated by Kelly Garland. Burial will be private in Curtis Cemetery at Limestone.

David Lynn Bigham

ROGERS -- David Lynn Bigham, 56, of Rogers, died Nov. 24, 2009, at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale.

He was born April 29, 1953, in Rogers, to the late Johnny and Laverne Bigham.

David worked at Daisy Co. for several years and also was a cook at many local restaurants. He enjoyed music and especially spending time with his family. David was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by one brother, Randy Bigham and wife, Carol, of Rogers; seven sisters, Bernice Drymon, Shirley Dalbey, Clara Gibbs, Mary Ash, Sharon Severs and husband, Don, all of Rogers, Faye Hufford of Pea Ridge and Loretta Grigg and husband, J.R., of Springdale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at Rollins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Rollins Funeral Home with Marshall Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Benton County Memorial Park.

Eleanor Haden

WICHITA, Kan. -- Eleanor Louise Haden, 94, formerly of Bella Vista, died Nov. 25, 2009.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Dick Haden and wife, Treva, of Wichita, Kan., and Bill Haden and wife, Sandra, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday at Riverlawn Christian Church in Wichita. Arrangements are by Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

Linda Sharon Wright

ROGERS -- Linda Sharon Wright, 67 of Rogers peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones Nov. 26, 2009, at her home in Rogers. Linda was a lifelong nanny who made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many children. Linda was born June 22, 1942 in Hobbs, N.M., the daughter of Harold Edwin Logan and Grace Virginia Duncan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lewis Duncan Logan and Mark Stephen Logan.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Doyle Wright of the home; four children, Blake Logan Thompson of Englewood, Colo., Devin Raymond Thompson of Rogers, Staci Kathryn Thompson-O'Neill of Minneapolis and David Harold Garver Jr. of Celebration, Fla.: two sisters Peggy Virginia Duvall of Irving, Texas, and Caryl Elizabeth Mahurin of Garfield; three grandchildren, Erica, Grace and Thomas; seven nieces and nephews, and the rest of her extended family.
