Twain Walker Jr.
WELLINGTON, Nev. — Twain Alfred Walker Jr., 66, formerly of Reno, Nev., passed away Dec. 18, 2009, at his home in Wellington, Nev.
He was born in Downey, Calif., on Aug. 4, 1943. Twain worked as a CPA for over 30 years in Reno, Nev., and enjoyed working with all of his clients. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. Twain also enjoyed gardening and car restoration.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughters, Kim (Jerry) DePaoli and Korine (Crag) Walker-Clark; brother, Ralph Lonie; sister, Dorothy (Darral) Hallaway; grandchildren, Jeffery DePaoli, Tawni (Derek) Purdy, Brianna DePaoli, Jacob DePaoli and Justean Walker-Clark; and two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Dane Purdy.
Private family services are scheduled. Arrangements are being handled by Walton Funeral Home in Reno, Nev.

Evelyn Blake Spear
SPRINGDALE — Evelyn Blake Spear, 91, a resident of Springdale, passed away Dec. 21, 2009, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
She was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Tontitown, the daughter of Perry and Lou Austin Blake.
She attended the Summers Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Spear; one sister, Thelma Lierly; and one brother, LeRoy Blake.
She worked for the U of A food service prior to her 39 years of child care provided in her home. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking and mowing her yard.
Survivors include one brother, Harold Blake of Fayetteville; nine nieces and nephews, among who are Carolyn Schmitt and Connie Lierly, both of Fayetteville, and Camille Vest of Ozark.
Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Homestyle Assisted Living Center in Springdale.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with Paul Young officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Hill Cemetery near Lincoln. There will be no graveside services held.
