Army Reserve Pfc. Adona M. Granger has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

She is the daughter of Caroline Forbes of Rogers and Adam Granger of Regulus St., El Paso, Texas.

Granger is a 2009 graduate of Parkland High School, El Paso.

Christopher E. Grady has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

He is the son of Ann Turner of Bentonville.

Grady is a 2006 graduate of Bentonville High School.

Pvt. Gregory Erwin of Bella Vista recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard.

Erwin has earned education benefits, including Federal Tuition Assistance and the Montgomery G.I. Bill.

He will attend Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Okla., as a multiple launch rocket system fire direction specialist.

Upon returning to Arkansas, Erwin will serve with Alpha Battery 1st Battalion 142nd Field Artillery in Bentonville.

He is a NorthWest Arkansas Community College graduate and the son of Mary Erwin.

Pvt. Mercy Lopez of Rogers recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard and has earned education benefits.

She will attend Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., as a human resources specialist. Upon returning to Arkansas, Lopez will serve with Headquarters Company 217th Brigade Support Battalion in Booneville.

PFC Preston Toombs of Siloam Springs recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard and has earned education benefits.

He will attend Basic Training followed by AdvancedIndividual Training at Fort Eustis, Va., as a motor transport operator.

Upon returning to Arkansas, Toombs will serve with the 937th Forward Support Company at Fort Chaffee.

Pvt. Drew Moses of Bentonville recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard and has earned education benefits.

After graduating from Rogers Heritage High School in May, he will attend Basic Training with further instruction at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., as a tracked vehicle mechanic.

Upon returning to Arkansas, Moses will serve with the 1st Battalion 142nd Forward Support Company in Bentonville.

Pvt. Brandon Meek of Rogers recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard and has earned education benefits.

He will attend Basic Training followed by Advanced Individual Training at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., as an intelligence analyst.

Upon the completion of training, Meek will serve with Headquarters Battery 142nd Fires Brigade in Fayetteville.

Pvt. Scott Dorsey of Rogers recently enlisted into the Arkansas Army National Guard.

Dorsey has earned education benefits, including Federal Tuition Assistance and the Montgomery G.I. Bill.

A junior at Rogers Heritage High School, he will attend Basic Training this summer and then return for his senior year. After high school graduation, he will attend Advanced Individual Training at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md., as an artillery mechanic.

Upon the completion of training, Dorsey will serve with the 937th Forward Support Company at Fort Chaffee.

He is the son of Shanna and Scott Dorsey.
