Just a reminder: Web site goes paid on Wednesday

Northwest Arkansas The Web site for The Benton County Daily Record and its sister newspapers - www.nwanews.com - will undergo changes Wednesday that will require those with no subscription to the newspapers to pay a fee for online access.
Subscribes to any of the daily newspapers involved in the site - the Northwest Arkansas Times, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and The Benton County Daily Record - will receive freeaccess to the content on nwanews.com by going through a one-time registration process on the site.
Any print-edition subscriber who is already registered to read arkansasonline.com, the Democrat-Gazette's Web site for its central Arkansas and statewide editions, will automatically be registered for nwanews.com and can log in at either site.
Those who do not subscribe to a print edition can choose an online-only subscription for $5.95 per month. The online-only subscription covers accessto nwanews.com and arkansasonline.com.
Although nwanews.com is changing to a subscription-based site, some content will continue to be available to all site visitors, including blogs, breaking news and some special coverage of events.
The subscription approach applies to original newspaper content on an affiliated Web site that focuses on coverage of the Arkansas Razorbacks,www.wholehogsports.com; however, the popular Slophouse blog will be available to all visitors at no charge. Other blogs, such as the TunedIn arts and entertainment blog, will remain freely accessible.
Print subscribers and nonsubscribers who want to register for an account may visit www.nwanews.com/register. Readers may also call (800) 482-1121 for assistance in setting up online access.
Starting Wednesday, onlythose registered customers who either have a paid print-edition subscription or a paid online subscription will be able to access the print-edition content on the Web.
Content for the nine weekly publications published by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in northwest Arkansas will continue to be available free online. Those newspapers are The Weekly Vista in Bella Vista, the Decatur Herald, the Gentry Courier-Journal, the Gravette News Herald, the Rogers Hometown News, the Siloam Springs Herald-Leader, the Times of Northeast Benton County in Pea Ridge, the White River Valley News in Elkins and Noticias Libres, a Spanish newspaper serving the region.
