Congratulations to the Rev. Lowell Grisham for his Nov. 17 inspiration to all who know in their gut that what you say is true but do not have the courage to take a public stand on this and other issues of political and social equality.
As a young man in the 1950s and 1960s, I took only a partial stand in regard to racial equality and have regretted it ever since.
As a newcomer to Fayetteville, I have been a visitor to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where I have been introduced to your philosophy of charity and acceptance that you routinely display in words and deeds. Bravo.
