PUBLIC VIEWPOINT President Obama Is Not A King

Well, the government is in a partial shutdown.

I think it’s great fi nally we can slow President Barack Obama down on spending money. Ha ha ha - like this is going to stop King Barry from going on vacations and golf outings with Tiger. I only have a few questions.

First, if we can furlough 8,000 nonessential personnel and the government still runs fi ne without them, there has to be at least 20 percent to 30 percent of those furloughed who really aren’t needed at all. Please understand, I don’t want to see anyone lose their jobs, but if we can save money in government, shouldn’t we just fire 30 percent of those on furlough? I can think of535 in Washington who can go a few months without pay and should be fi red for not doing their jobs. Do you hear that, John B. and Steve W.?

Second, why did King Barry send more people to guard the World War II memorial (seven) than he sent to guard the embassy in Benghazi (five). By the way, the World War II memorial was built and funded by private citizens, not the federal government. I don’t care who you are, if this doesn’t make you mad as hell that Obama is telling the men who stormed the beaches and liberated Europe and Japan that they can’t see their memorial, then I don’t want you in my country. So get out. You don’t deserve the freedom these men gave you.

Now last, but not least: Why are the leaders of our government acting like kindergartners? King Obama says “I won, so I get what I want. I don’t care and if you don’t give me Obamacare then I won’t sign anything, so there.” It’s like a kid saying, “If I don’t get ice cream, then we aren’t going to the amusement park.”

Harry Reed is doing the same thing by saying the Senate won’t vote unless you put everything in the bill he wants. I don’t trust John Boehner either, but all they are saying is let’s slow down Obamacare. If it isn’t ready for the big Obamafriendly businesses, then maybe it’s not quite right.

Look, we can still go to Disney World if you want, but let’s wait and see if the budget will let everyonehave some ice cream. And if we can’t get ice cream for everyone, then we still get to go to Disney World, right? We can still have fun but, Barry, sometimes you don’t get everything you want. I know this is new for King Barack Obama, because since birth he’s been able to do anything he wanted and get it all paid for by others. But not this time. He is the president of America and has to follow the rules.

He should know the rules.

After all, he’s supposed to be a constitutional scholar and that’s where we get our rules for governing America. He is not a king, even though he and many of his followers think he is.
