Terms of Sale

This page provides the terms of sale and purchase for WEHCO Media, Inc. - and all subsidiaries - (“us,” “we,” or “our”) products, including digital subscriptions, print subscriptions, one-time purchases, or any and all other products or services by our visitors, users, customers, and subscribers (“you” or “your”). By using any WEHCO Media, Inc. product, you are agreeing also to our Terms of Service.


Defining Product

The term “product” used herein refers to any paid product, subscription or service, regardless of medium or payment frequency, available through WEHCO Media, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries, including www.nwaonline.com, www.nwaonline.com, www.wholehogsports.com, www.timesfreepress.com, www.hotsr.com, www.eldoradonews.com, www.texarkanagazette.com, www.camdenarknews.com, www.magnoliabannernews.com, www.newstribune.com, www.fultonsun.com, www.californiademocrat.com.


Product Membership and Registration

Please review the Membership and Registration information in our Terms of Service. For details about your purchases and subscriptions, including payment method and billing cycles, you can contact our customer service department using the contact information in the Payment Processing section below.


Payment Processing

We will process your purchase or subscription payments as quickly as possible. There may be delays in the activation and accessing of your product or subscription while your payment details are verified. We accept all major credit cards and also can accept automatic bank drafts. WEHCO Media, Inc. reserves the right to reject any order or purchase at any time.

In the event your initial payment authorization is revoked, your product, subscription, or access will be terminated. If you believe your access, subscription, or product was terminated in error, please contact our customer service department.

Unless specified otherwise in our Cancellation and Refund Policy (see below), all charges and payments are nonrefundable.

Pricing for Purchases or Recurring Charges

When you purchase a product or subscription, the price (including amounts of future recurring charges associated with your product or subscription) will be made clear during the order process, including prior to entering any forms of personal or financial information. The pricing will also clearly state any promotional or discounted pricing or trial periods associated with the product or subscription. You agree to pay the price that is stated at the time of your order, as well as any applicable taxes associated with your purchase. You also agree to the billing frequency stated at the time of your order.

If your purchase includes any form of recurring payments (such as subscriptions that are billed monthly), at the time of the initial purchase, you are agreeing to entering an ongoing subscription service for recurring payments. Recurring payments will continue until the service, purchase, subscription, or access is canceled in accordance with our stated Cancellation and Refund Policy (see below).

The start date of any subscription or product access is considered the date that the initial purchase was submitted, even if due to a promotional or trial period the initial purchase action does not include a monetary charge.

Discount or promotional eligibility is determined at the time of the order or purchase. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to any purchases.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are in United States Dollars.

Applicable taxes may vary, and we are not able to notify you in advance of changes in applicable taxes that affect your purchase.

We reserve the right to change prices and fees at any time. Should the regular rate of a product change from what was stated at the time of your purchase, we will notify you in advance and give you the opportunity to accept the new price or cancel your purchase, subscription, or access from that point forward.

If a stated or advertised price of any of our products or services is determined to be in error, per our sole discretion, we are not under any obligation to offer you the product or service at that price. In the event an erroneous price affects your purchase, subscription, or access, we will notify you, and you will be given the opportunity to agree to the corrected price or cancel your purchase, subscription, or access from that point forward.

Not all of our subscriptions include full access to all of our products and services. In the event you may have to pay additional costs for full or expanded access, any additional charges will be clearly stated prior to your payment method being charged.

Any third-party charges incurred while using our products or services, such as data fees, service provider fees, or telecommunications fees, are your sole responsibility to pay.

If you believe your account has been compromised by another individual or that you are being charged for a product or service you did not consent to or have access to, please contact our customer service department.


Billing of Purchases or Subscriptions

Billing will occur according to the information stated at the time of your purchase or order. Your payment method will be charged either at the beginning of your subscription or at the end of any free trial period, if applicable.

All WEHCO Media, Inc. subscriptions, be them print, digital, or any combination thereof, are renewed automatically. In most cases, we do not and will not notify you in advance of any impending renewals. At the time of any renewal, we will charge the payment method on file for you account. You can change or update your preferred payment method in the Manage Subscription area of nwaonline.com.

By entering into an ongoing subscription service for recurring payment agreement with us, you agree to waive the application of any automatic renewal, continuing service, or similar, laws.

For any one-time purchases, such as gift subscriptions or standalone products, we will charge your payment method one time, at the time of purchase.

In the event you reside outside of the United State of America, you will be billed in a currency based on your billing address. Any currency that is not United States Dollars will be stated during the purchase process.


Unpaid Amounts or Charges

In the event your payment method becomes invalid for any reason, including expiration, you are still responsible for any charges incurred from the purchasing agreement. We do not automatically terminate subscriptions, accounts, access, or products when the listed payment method becomes invalid.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for any and all costs we incur in the process of or connection to the collection of any unpaid amounts. This includes any court, attorney, or collection agency fees and any other associated fees or costs.


Promotions and Trial Periods

For our products, subscriptions, or services we may on occasion offer promotions or trial periods. Each promotion or trial period may be different have different rules and regulations. No promotion or trial periods may be combined, and unless otherwise stated, all promotions and trial periods are only open to current non-subscribers who have not been active subscribers to any WEHCO Media, Inc. subsidiary in the past thirty (30) days. The specific terms of any promotion or trial period are stated clearly at the time the promotion or trial period is offered. When you sign up for any promotion or trial period, you will be required to provide your payment details. All subscriptions will automatically renew at the rates given at the time of purchase when the promotion or trial period ends.

It is your sole responsibility to cancel any promotion or trial period prior to the renewal date to avoid any additional charges. Unless where required, we will not notify you prior to or in advance of the ending of a promotion or trial period.


Use of Third Parties

If you are using or have purchased a product or service through a third party to access any of our products or content, these Terms of Sale do not apply to you, and we are not liable for any claims made related to the purchases or access through third parties. You will need to contact said third party directly.


Cancellation and Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated in the promotion, you are able to cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel your subscription, you are only canceling future charges. You will not receive a refund for the current or previous billing cycle(s). You may notify us of your decision to cancel at any time, but the cancellation will not become effective until the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have the same access and subscription benefits for the remainder of the current billing period.

Certain promotions or trial periods may have different cancellation or refund policies which will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to issue any refunds or credits at our sole discretion, and we are under no obligation to issue the same or even similar refund or credit in any scenario, regardless of previous actions or decisions.

We reserve the right to make updates or changes to any or all of our products and services at any time. You will not receive a refund for any monies paid if we change, reduce, or eliminate the price or terms for any access, products, or subscriptions that you are currently paying for.

In the event any of or all of our products or services are temporarily unavailable, you will not receive a refund.

We reserve the right to terminate, cancel, or suspend any access, product, or subscription for any reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice and without any further obligations. These circumstances do not entitle you to a refund or credit. All credits and refunds are issued at our sole discretion without any obligations, including those based on past or similar actions or circumstances.


Promotional Periods and Cancellations

Promotions or trial offers that have cancellation and/or refund terms that differ from these guidelines will have said terms clearly stated at the time of purchase. By submitting your purchase and/or entering into an ongoing subscription service for recurring payment using a promotion or trial offer, you agree to the cancellation and/or refund terms stated at the time of purchase.


Changing Subscriptions

In the event you change between two of our subscription options, you may receive a credit or be subject to additional charges at the time of switching. Any credits or additional charges will be clearly stated at the time of switching.


One-Time Purchases

One-time purchases, such as gift subscriptions or day passes, cannot be canceled or refunded. For gift subscriptions, the recipient and purchaser can both chose to not renew the subscription to continue after the gifted period. At that time, the gift subscription would be considered terminated upon the end of the prepaid term. If the gift subscription is terminated, the recipient and purchaser would still be liable to uphold any and all terms regarding issued access or equipment from the original agreement.
