The 13.76-acre property at 1470 Shipe Road west of Centerton was bought by Thomas Hartman and his wife, Janice, for $375,000 in November 2021. The property was billed as the Wings of Peace Ministry, a sober living facility housing parolees and probationers. Law enforcement arrested five people at the propety, including Hartman, in January on drugs, weapons and sexual assault charges.
