Danny L. Williams, age 73, of Bentonville, died Friday, May 13, 2022, at his residence. He was born June 2, 1948, in Mansfield, Ohio, the son of Virginia Reinhart and Gordon "Monk" Williams. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 until 1971 serving in Vietnam. He was a collector of many things including over 4000 sets of salt and pepper shakers. He enjoyed spending time at auctions, flea markets, and playing cards. He loved watching the Arkansas Razorbacks. The most important part of Danny's life was spending quality time with his family and attending First Baptist Church of Bentonville. He taught Sunday School and Small Groups for many years, and loved to share his Faith with all who would listen. He moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1995 from Pine Bluff. He was preceded in death by: his parents and one brother. Danny is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Martha Williams, whom he married September 27, 1974, one son; Robert Sawyer and his wife Dia, of Avon, Indiana, two daughters; Deborah Brown, of Rogers, Susanne Decker and her husband Bobby, of Gravette, one brother; Bobby Williams, of Pine Bluff, one sister; Sharon Morse and her husband Buddy of Pine Bluff, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 6-8 p.m., at First Baptist Church located in Bentonville. A celebration of Danny's life will be: Friday, May 20, 2022, at 1 p.m., at First Baptist Church located in Bentonville with Pastor Chris Dixon officiating and Worship Pastor Clay Crosse leading music. Interment will follow at Bentonville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Phillip Ashcraft, Frank Farrer, Chuck Cunningham, Tim Foshee, Richie Patrick, Dennis Shepherd, Larry Porter, and Jeff Chapman. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tim Swindle, Richard Wells, and John Roberts. Memorials may be sent to: First Baptist Church of Bentonville. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home Bentonville.
