Marshall Washington Bowerman, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale. He was born Thursday, November 23, 1933, at Fayetteville, to George Nathan and Laura Francis Irene McClure Bowerman. Marshall married Janice Fultz on January 25, 1958, at Goshen, Arkansas; and together they were parents to three children. He was a chef for AQ Chicken, a member of Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Marshall was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was also devoted to his family, and dearly loved his children and grandchildren. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, George and Laura Bowerman; and two sisters, Lois Bowerman and Deborah Cox. He is survived by his wife, Janice Bowerman of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Carey and Damona Bowerman of Fayetteville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Paul Raymer of Huntsville, and Melissa and Danny Johnson of Huntsville; six grandchildren, Joshua and Alarie Bowerman, Tyler and Monica Horton, Brittany and Nathaniel Florer, Baleigh and Rusty Burnett, Lariot and Karen Cozad, and Shelby Ramer; two brothers and one sister-in-law, John Enoch Bowerman, and Anthony Jerome and Dianne Bowerman; and 18 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m., Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at Brashears Funeral Home with Brian Bowerman officiating. Pallbearers will be Carey Bowerman, Josh Bowerman, Lariot Cozad, Nathaniel Florer, Rusty Burnett, and Tyler Horton. Interment will immediately follow services at Joyce Cemetery, Springdale. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
