Charles William Boyer, 88, of Springdale passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022, at his home. He was born May 14, 1933, in San Juan, Texas, to Maurice and Elna Strubing Boyer. Charles served in the United States Navy during the Korean War from 1950-1954. He owned and operated Boyer Sign Service specializing in neon signs. He served as the president of the Springdale Country Club, he was a lifetime Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan and an animal enthusiast. He enjoyed golfing, bay fishing, football, relaxing with friends at the Boars Nest in South Padre Island, Texas. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Springdale and Fishers of Men Lutheran Church in Port Isabel, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson-in-law, Nathan Cantrell. Survivors include his wife, Jean Ann Boyer, of the home; two daughters, Aubrey Harp (Randall) and Kim Taldo; son-in-law, Curtis Taldo, all of Springdale; five grandchildren, Erica Taldo (Jonathan) of Springdale, Emarie Taldo (Shelby) of Springdale, Elisha Cantrell of Springdale, Ryan McAlister (Lauren) of Springdale, and Nathan McAlister (Emi) of Seattle, Wash.; three great-grandchildren, Ayla Phillips, Asher Cantrell, and Evelynn McAlsiter; and a host of friends at Fiesta Harbor, South Padre Island, Texas.
