Carma Unruh

Carma Unruh, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022, at her home. She was born January 2, 1934, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Frank and Mildred McClelland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mildred McClelland; a brother, Bob McClelland; and an infant child, Curtis Alan Unruh. Carma was a member of the Ozark Society where she helped build and maintain the Buffalo River Trail. She was an avid hiker and she enjoyed whitewater rafting. Carma enjoyed ballroom and line-dancing with her partner Ron Foldvary. At the Fayetteville Senior Center she and Ron taught line-dancing for exercise. Carma "loved" animals. She is survived by her children, Chryell Unruh of Springdale, Karen Deal (Donald) of Bella Vista, and Scott Unruh (Nita) of Kearney, Neb.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
