Jamie Edward Scroggins, age 52, of Bentonville, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at home peacefully after a five year battle with cancer. He was born in Concord, California, to Sheila Scroggins. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Scroggins and mother-in-law, Momma Ju "Judy" Weiher. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kerrie Weiher Scroggins of Bentonville; sons, Christopher Scroggins and wife, Madison of Bentonville, and Cody Scroggins and wife, Jessica of Bentonville; his mother, Sheila Scroggins, of Fort Smith; sister, Tracy Verkamp and husband, Mark Verkamp; and father-in-law, Roy Weiher of Jones, Oklahoma. Jamie was fiercely loved by everyone who was blessed and honored to know him. He embraced every person that came into his path with incredible love, compassion and respect. He cherished every moment spent with his family which he loved bigger than life. He was intensely faithful, present, and loyal to all of his family, friends, and coworkers. He loved sports, especially baseball. He spent many years coaching the baseball teams his sons were on and was so proud of them. He spent every opportunity he could in the past few years cheering on Cody, as he continued to play, living out his dream of hopefully going to the Major Leagues. He loved spending time on the lake with his family. Jamie was beyond excited about his first grandchild arriving in May, who is being named after him, Jamie Clay Scroggins. Jamie had a 24 year career with Sam's Club. A visitation will be on Saturday, February 5, 2022, from 1 until 3 p.m., with a celebration of life to follow at 3 p.m., at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
