Robert Gene Boucher, our beloved husband, father, and friend, passed to the Lord February 2, 2022. He was born on August 6, 1941, to Henry Creel & Mary Nova Boucher of Springhill, La. He was 80 years old, and surrounded by his wife and daughters at home at the time of passing. He married Jean Ann Taeusch on August 31, 1959, in Boise, Idaho, who he met at her parents Hotel where she worked. He graduated from Northwestern State University, with a bachelor's in science in 1967. He worked as an IT Systems Analyst, Programmer, Dept Manager for various companies over his career. He moved his family from Shreveport, La., to San Antonio, Texas in 1976, then to Fort Smith, Ark., in 1987. His last employment was with Sysco Foods in NE Riviera Beach, Fla., and retired in 2006. He moved back to the NW Arkansas area to be close to his daughters and grandchildren. Robert Boucher is survived by his wife, Jean Boucher, who he was married to for 61 years; his two daughters, Brenda Laird, her husband, David Laird and Bobbie Rotenberry, her husband, Trey Rotenberry; three granddaughters: Alexandria C. Cawthon, her husband Nick Cawthon, Mandy Nova Rotenberry, and Brooklyn R. Barnes; two great-grandchildren: Cooper H. Cawthon and Haizley D. Anderson, who he loved dearly; and their dog named Baby. He spoiled us all with love and is dearly missed and will always be in our hearts. A private family memorial service was held in Bentonville, Ark. He will remain with Jean until his daughters take them both to their final resting place at Springhill Cemetery, also known as the Boucher Cemetery in Springhill, La. He was preceded in death by his parents, Creel and Nova Boucher of Springhill, La.; and his one brother, Dr. Henry C. Boucher, Jr. of East Baton Rouge Parish, La., and four schnauzers: Whiskers, Princess, Buster and Marty. Arrangements by Epting Funeral Home, Bentonville.
