Regina Ann Hankins

Regina Ann Hankins, age 65, of Lowell, died Friday, September 3, 2021, at her residence. She was born February 14, 1956 in Huntsville, the daughter of Joella Judy and Jimmy Hollingsworth. She was a member of Lowell Baptist for many years, where she served in many roles including Vacation Bible School "VBS" and Wednesday Night Meals. She loved decorating the house for holidays, gardening, crafting, spending quality time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, painting, reading, and scrapbooking. She was preceded in death by her parents. Regina is survived by: her husband, Roger Hankins, whom she married March 28, 1975; her son, Brian Hankins and his wife Karissa, of Seneca, Mo.; one daughter: Amy Cowan and her husband Casey, of Bentonville; one brother: William Hollingsworth; three sisters: Shonna Stevens, Cheryl Smith, Celeste Mackey; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at First Baptist Lowell. A celebration of Regina's life will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Lowell, with Brother Gary Thomas officiating.
