Mildred Gertrude Miller, age 99, of Elm Springs, Ark., went to be with the Lord June 15, 2021, at her home with her family surrounding her. She was born January 30, 1922, in Lowell, Arkansas, the daughter of Jesse James and Nora McGarrah Williamson. She was a member of Cross Church in Springdale and a member of BSF. She enjoyed gardening, was a previous vender at the farmer's market where she was known as the "Garlic Lady", working in the church ministry and was active in TOPS. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her husband, Paul Miller in 2007, two brothers; Howard Williamson and Dean Williamson; and three sons-in-law: Clifford Breece, John Knoll, and Jim Bob Wheeler. Mrs. Miller is survived by one son, Paul Miller, Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Elm Springs, Arkansas; six daughters: Linda Breece of Sacramento, California; Paulette Knoll of Mesa, Arizona; Carol Inman and her husband, Joe, of Eugene, Oregon; Joan Wheeler of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Peggy Woodland and her husband, Louie, of Marcola, Oregon; and Barbara Miller of Elm Springs, Arkansas; one sister, Reba Gentry, of Republic, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren and seven great-great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 10 a.m., in the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas, 72762, with Brother Joe Dorman, Pastor Samuel Marney, and Andrew Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 9 a.m., until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cameron Honey, Barron Knoll, Bryan Iman, Brent Woodland, Kevin Honey, Grant Knoll, Aaron Thiesse and Andrew Miller.
