Doris R. Devlin

Doris R. Devlin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in Rogers, Ark., surrounded by family. Doris was 82 years young. She was born on June 21, 1938, in Shattuck, Okla. Doris was a dedicated RN for over 40 years. She had a passion for helping others and considered her work a calling. Doris doted on her patients, and thought of each person as her family. Throughout her career she worked as an emergency room nurse and home health nurse, reaching hundreds of people in rural Arkansas. In addition, she was the Director of Nurses at Heritage Park Nursing home in Rogers, Arkansas, for several years. Dearest to her was her family. Doris had three children. She was preceded in death by her oldest son, Gregory Devlin. She is survived by James Devlin and his wife, Tommie Devlin, and a daughter, Teri Devlin Maddox and her husband, Jim Maddox. Doris had eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, with number 12 on the way! She also left behind many nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Doris. She enjoyed daily snuggles with her dog, Cricket, and a cat named Mittens.
