Margaret Ellen Young

Margaret Ellen Young, 87, of Mulberry, Ark., passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021, in a local nursing home. She was a retired Executive Secretary for Flanders Industries for 50 plus years, a member of the Eastern Star, member of the Alma United Methodist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was born May 9, 1934, in Muldrow, Okla., to the late Al and Gertrude (Cherry) Condren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyman Dale Young. Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021, at New Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. Survivors include her son, Ron Young and wife Penny of Mulberry, Ark.; grandchildren, Vanessa Cope and husband Jeff of Maineville, Ohio, and David Young of Bentonville, Ark. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cherokee Nation Foundation, 800 S. Muskogee, Tahlequah, Okla., 74464.
