Charles Williams Dunnaway, 81, of Rogers, passed away January 9, 2021, at University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kansas. He was born December 16, 1939, in Hiwassee, Arkansas, the son of Willie Paul and Fleeta Horton Galyean Dunnaway. He was a salesman for Bruce Rogers Company, a graduate of Gravette High School Class of 1957. Charles was a member of the First Christian Church in Rogers and served in the United States Marine Corp. He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Sue Woods, and Paul Dean Dunnaway; grandchildren, Kelsey Hull, Candi, and Brandi Dunnaway. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Jackie Whorton Dunnaway of the home; children, Todd Dunnaway and fiancée Shannon Wells of Mountain Home, Lana Hull, and husband Larry of Springdale; his siblings, Ann Red of Centerton and Gary Dunnaway of Rogers; grandchildren, Brian Dunnaway, Britni Hull, Tiffany Lowrey and husband Chris, Brittany Dunnaway and fiancée Teague Butcher, Jordon Hull, and wife Ashley; seven great- grandchildren. Charles enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and bowling, he also was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. Funeral services 11 a.m., Friday, January 15, 2021, at the First Christian Church, 13th and Oak Street, Rogers. Interment with full military honors at the Rogers Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Wounded Warriors.
