Mona Fern Stidham Brinkley

Mona Fern Stidham Brinkley, 85, of Gravette went to be with the Lord January 10, 2021. Born November 25, 1935, in McKinley Township, Caddo County, Okla., to Delmas Luther Dee and Edith Elsie "Brown" Stidham. Fern married David Brinkley, April 25, 1952 in Cloves, N.M. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a Charter Board Member of the Georgia Flat Cemetery Association. Her hobbies were gardening, canning, and needlework. She loved her roses. She loved taking care of her family. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and four brothers, Harlon (Big), Earlon (Lid), Billy Joe, and Lawrence. She is survived by five children, Laqueda and husband John "Bud" Roquemore, William Brinkley of Gravette, Ark., Dave and Rhonda "Buffer" Brinkley of Bella Vista, Ark., Freda and husband Charles Willingham of Springdale, Ark., and Ron and Katie "Echols" Brinkley of Rogers; grandchildren, Charles Dee, Shawn, Cody, Johnny Buffer, Josh Willingham, Ashley & McKenzie Brinkley; nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl and Ann Stidham of Brawley, Ca., David and Diana Stidham of Hiwasse, Ark., Raymond and Jeannie Stidham of Neosho, Mo., Islamae Arnold, Kay Russow, Doris and Husband John McDougal, Sue and husband Darrell of Gravette, Ark., Edith Hudson of Gentry, Betty and husband Gene Hendricks of Quitman, Ark. There will be a graveside service Friday, January 15, at 2 p.m., at the Georgia (Flat) Cemetery west of Gravette with Pastor Jheri Roberts officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Georgia Flat Cemetery Association, c/o Debbie Fisher, Treasurer, PO Box 1294, Gravette, Ark., 72736.
