Berthalene "Bert" (Jones) Moore, age 82, a resident of Farmington, Ark., passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born March 25, 1938 in Saint Paul, Ark., the daughter of Evan Williams and Mittie (Standley) Jones. Our mom was an active person. She was a member of Main Street Baptist, in Farmington. She loved gardening, particularly her flowers. She and dad canned most of their vegetables. Mom loved cooking too. You can probably ask for an issue of any cookbook, and she will have it on her shelves. She loved her family so much and was proud of all of us! She had a sparkle in her eyes and a personality that was contagious. Our mom will be missed by all her loving friends. She loved all of them and they were a friend for life. They loved her too. She never turned anyone away and made sure everyone was taken care of. But mostly, she loved our dad, endlessly. Always made sure he was taken care of. He will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers LeRoy Jones, Ray Dean Jones, J.C. "Joe" Jones, and David Jones and three sisters Margarite Hutchinson, Vivian Johnson, and Nettie Jean Glasgow and three sisters-in-law Cathy (Moore) Denham, Ann (Moore) Hart and Katherine Jones. Survivors include her husband of 62 years George W. "Bill" Moore Jr.; three children Tammie J. Shelley and her husband Floyd, Billie Ann Ball all of Farmington, Ark., and Michael G. Moore and his wife Kimberly of Lincoln, Ark.; a sister Willene Stapleton and her husband John of Fayetteville; two sisters-in-law Roberta Jones and Margaret Moore, both of Farmington; six grandchildren Brooke Ann Spradlin and her husband Steven of Fort Smith, Brian Shelley and his wife Latina of Farmington, Jon Ball and his wife Maria of Prairie Grove, Evan Yochum of Prairie Grove, Haley Noe and her husband Alan of Farmington, and Mikey Moore and his Fiancé Autumn of Lincoln; 13 great-grandchildren Addison, Mitchell, MaKinley, Winston and Harper Spradlin, Wyatt and Magalene Shelley, Corban, Callie and Camden Ball, Brentley and Rylan Noe and Oaklyn Moore.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
