Edith Louellen Snider, age 92, of West Fork, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in Fayetteville. She was born July 16, 1928 in Stockton, Kansas to Jacob C. and Muriel Saphronia Foster Medley. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Henry Snider II, and brothers Sterling, Richard, Ronald, and Orland Medley. Edith moved to Arkansas with her family in a covered wagon at the age of two. She grew up in the Tuttle Community near Elkins and walked everywhere she went. She loved the outdoors, looking for building rocks and unusual rocks for the rock garden, cooking and guilting. She was a housewife, farmer, and occasionally a rock mason. Edith was one of Jehovah's witnesses, Riverside Park Congregation. She is survived by her son, Steven Snider (Tunyion) of West Fork; four daughters, Janice Wasson (David) of Springdale, Johnnie Bulger (Mickey) of Carterville, Missouri, Dolores Snider of West Fork, and Sherri Caudle of West Fork; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to Whitehouse Volunteer Fire Dept. in honor of Washington County Search and Rescue, P.O.
