Jimmie Joseph Cook

Jimmie "Sonny" Joseph Cook, age 76, of Prairie Grove, Ark., died on December 19, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 19, 1945, in Huntsville, Ark., to Joe Cook and Anna Louise Smith Cook. Sonny married Ruby Jordan on November 9, 1969. He worked as a truck driver for Highland Dairy Company. Sonny enjoyed going camping and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Anna Cook. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Cook; daughter, Sheila Renee Hernandez of Farmington, Ark.; son, Steven Ray Cook of Siloam Springs, Ark.; four grandchildren, Payton, Michelle, Matthew, and Dallas; three great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Jordan of Farmington, Ark.; and half-brother, Bobby Joe Cook of Missouri. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Ark. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021.
