Amelia Elida Hodges

Amelia Elida Hodges 72, of Rogers, Ark., passed away July 29, 2021, in Rogers. She was born to Eliseo Lopez and Candelaria Moreno in Sinton, Texas, on March 27, 1949, the eighth child of 14 children. She married Roy Gene Hodges in 1969 and moved to Waldron, Ark., in 1972, after he got out of the Navy. She moved to Rogers with her family in 1981; she was an active member of the Charity Baptist Church for 20 years, worked for Dr. Russell Riggs for 23 years and then Rogers Dental Associate as a Chairside Assistant. She is preceded in death, her parents, and several siblings. She is survived by her loving husband Roy Hodges and two wonderful daughters, Michelle Foster and husband Mark and Kathryn Minshew and husband Josh. She was extremely proud and blessed to have seven grandchildren, Marisa Foster, Megan Jones and husband Hunter, Jillian Wrentz, Ava, Hunter, Austin and Jordan Minshew, and one great-grandchild Millie Mae Jones. Survived by her siblings, Santana Lopez, Eliseo Lopez Jr., Estella Lopez, Elva Okker, Bertha Lopez, Rosa Kuhn, Graciela Lopez, Elvira Lopez, Ruben Lopez. Visitation will be Monday August 2, 2021, 5-7 p.m., at Benton County Funeral Home 306 N. Fourth St. Rogers.
