Irene Isabel Richter

Irene Isabel Richter passed into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020. She was born February 22, 1930, to Alfred & Maude Parker Easterbrook in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. Mother was raised in both Canada and the US. She traveled the country with her sister and parents as they worked in the ministry. She attended grade school in San Antonio, Texas, and all-girls boarding school in Tulsa, Okla. As a young teen, she and her mother and sister settled in the town of Skiatook, Okla., where she met and fell in love with Demus E. "Mutt" Stillwell. They married and had three children, Alvin Ray, David Eugene and Treva Marie. Irene was a faithful Christian and attended the First Baptist Church of Ramona, Okla., where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and attended WMU Women's Missions Union. She applied for and received her United States citizenship after she married and was proud to be an American. She taught pre-school with the Head-Start program in the Ramona area and later worked as a bookkeeper for Otasco. Later in life, she worked for Mr. Phillip R. Phillips, and was a housekeeper and cook before she retired. She married Allen R. Richter on October 25, 2003, and they made their home in Bartlesville, Okla., where they attended The Trinity Baptist Church. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Allen R. Richter; her parents, Alfred and Maude Easterbrook; her sisters, Wanda Collums, Dorothy Love; a brother, Alfred Easterbrook II; and one child, Carol Jean Stillwell. Her children, Alvin Stillwell, David Stillwell, and Treva Stillwell Wood, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, survive her. A memorial service in her honor will be held September 20th, 2020, at The Orchards Park, Bentonville, Ark., at 2:00 pm. Donations may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation.
