Arvel "Vaughn" Neil

Arvel "Vaughn" Neil, 88 of Springdale passed away Thursday May 21, 2020 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born February 21, 1932 in Lowell, Ark. to Horace Neil and Nina Cowan Neil. Vaughn served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Cross Church Springdale. He loved baseball and playing golf. He taught at Sunday School for many years while also working as a banker. He was beloved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Eva Louise Neil and Bettye McDaniel and two brothers, Hayden Neil, and Lindell Neil. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Neil of the home; one son, Miles Neil of Springdale; one daughter, Sheri Neil of Springdale; one brother, Clyde Neil and wife Grace of Springdale and one grandchild, Mackenzie Neil. Graveside services will be Wednesday, 27, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale with Charlie Foster officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
