Dale A. Chiddister, Sr.

Dale A. Chiddister, Sr. (Mr. "C") passed away Thursday. May 21, 2020 from complications due to health problems. He was born December 9, 1945 In Three Rivers, Mich., to John and Yula Marshall Chiddister. After serving in the US Marines and a tour in Vietnam, Dale made a lifelong career in the restaurant business. He enjoyed cooking, candy making and meeting with people. He loved his children and truly adored his grandchildren. They in turn believed he was the best. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, John, Jr. , Tom and Wally and one sister, Rebecca. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Chiddister of the home; two sons, Dale Chiddister, Jr. and wife Amber of Fayetteville and Shane Chiddister and wife Rose of Harrison; one daughter, Bridget Anderson and husband Lucas of Springdale; two brothers, Bill Chiddister and wife Dianne and Jeff Chiddister and wife Sherrie all of Michigan; one sister, Nettie Childress of Michigan; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 11 a.m., at St. Raphael Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m., and a Rosary beginning at 7 all at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Dale will be interred at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
