Josiphene Villines

Josiphene Villines, 91, of Springdale passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Springdale. She was born June 13, 1928 in Boxley, Arkansas to James and Orphea Clark Reynolds. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the Boxley Baptist Church. She was known to all as "Granny Jo." She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert O. Villines; one son, Danny Villines; two grandsons, Benjamin Villines and James R. Villines; three brothers, Clifford, Clynton and Clayton Reynolds and three sisters, Cleo Austin, Almarine Young and Rosalene Barnhill. Survivors include one son, Bobby Villines and wife Rita of Springdale; four daughters, Melissa Winnat and husband Robert of Ozone, Arkansas, Mayva Villines of Springdale; Marita Blair and husband Gordon of Springdale and Marsha Bateman and husband David of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; one sister, Nancy Presley and husband Chuck of Missouri; four sisters-in-law, Helen Reynolds of Missouri, Dean Duty of Ponca, Arkansas, Patsy Fancher and husband John of Kingston and Louise Villines of Indiana; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Boxley with Pastor Claude Williams officiating. Visitation will begin at 1pm at the cemetery.
