Myrtle Burrow Scott

Myrtle Burrow Scott 83, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020. She was born on May 30, 1937 in Sallisaw, Okla., to James Alphas Burrow and Vennie Belle Ogdon Burrow. Myrtle was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Rogers, Ark. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Dale Scott; son, Steven Dale Scott; two sisters, Sue Strain and Christine Gibson; two brothers, Clyde and Hubert Burrow. Myrtle is survived by two daughters, Jimmie Lou Breshears (Terry Emerson) of Tulsa, Okla., Marla Hartmeier (Brett Thompson) of Rogers, Ark.; one sister Geraldine Foreman of Colcord, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Fair of Tulsa, Okla., Stacey Breshears of Tulsa, Okla., Jerod Breshears of Tulsa, Okla., Zach Breshears of Skiatook, Okla., Blake Breshears of Tulsa, Okla., Jacob Hartmeier of Rogers, Ark. and Alex Hartmeier of Rogers, Ark.; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Myrtle's life will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Ark.
