Mark Baker

Mark Baker, age 82, of the Brannon Mountain Community, died Monday, January 13, 2020 at his home. He was born June 20, 1937 at Brannon Mountain, the son of Roosevelt and Bertha Drain Baker. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Norman Baker & Howard Baker; a granddaughter Kristen Powell & one great-grandson Marshall Boles. He was a farmer & a 1956 graduate of St. Paul High School. He was a member of Brannon Mountain Community Church. He is survived by his wife Betty Baker; two daughters Mary Davenport & her husband Tommy of Fayetteville and Jane Baker of Fayetteville; two sons Alan Baker & his wife Donna of Brannon Mountain & David Baker & his wife Sonia of Brannon Mountain; three sisters Bessie Parker of Brannon Mountain, Dora Parker of Brannon Mountain & Vera Keller of Brannon Mountain; three granddaughters Sammie King, Shelly Johnson & Melissa Irwin; four grandsons Bradley Baker, Darin Boles, Ryan Boles & Brandon Baker & 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Brannon Mountain Community Church followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Brannon Mountain Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
