Kathryn Sue Cawood

Kathryn Sue Cawood, 91, lifelong resident of Bentonville, Ark., passed away peacefully Friday, April 10, 2020 at Bradford House in Bentonville. She was born March 27, 1929 to William (Town) and Etta Bolin. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Ralph) Cawood; her parents, Etta and Town Bolin; a brother, JC Bolin; and three sisters, Pauline Crampton, Maxine Keifert and Martha Mason. Kathryn is survived by her two sons, Mike Cawood and wife, Debbie of Anderson, Mo., and Mark Cawood and wife, Lila of Bentonville, Ark.; five grandchildren, Jennifer Cawood, Coy Cawood, Brooke Lane, Lauren Cawood and Tyler Cawood; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She had a deep love for her family and friends and was a member of Bentonville Church of Christ. She was a proud Bentonville High School graduate, class of 1947, when she reigned as homecoming queen and in the spring of '47, married her high school sweetheart, Ralph, who was captain of the football team. Kathryn will be laid to rest by her husband, Ralph, at Bentonville Cemetery. Due to Covid-19, this will be a private family graveside service.
