Cheryl Sue DeWitt

Cheryl Sue DeWitt, age 73, of Fayetteville passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019. She was born May 19, 1946, in Lyons, Kansas to Willard and Mary Ruth Cardin Patrick. Sue is preceded in death by her son, Sutton Stowers, her grandson, Sean Stowers, and sister, Vanda Spears. Sue is survived by her husband, Mike Dewitt; two daughters, Koleen and her husband Tim Downing of Fayetteville, and Tiffany and her husband Kerry Edgmon of Fayetteville; five sisters, Jackie Garvin, Jo Ella Alderson, Marta Moody, Sharles McCarty, Joanie Gilbert; two brothers, Charles Patrick and Michael Patrick; grandson, Josh and his wife Suzie Downing; and a great-grandson, Hudson Downing. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 11 at Moore's Chapel followed by interment in Patrick Cemetery.
