Elizabeth Lavon Page

Elizabeth Lavon Page, 75, of Winslow, passed away on May 11, 2019. She was born in Fayetteville on November 22, 1943, the daughter of Robert Hugo Page of Cape Town, South Africa, and of Exine Johnston Page, of Fayetteville, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Fayetteville High School and of the University of Arkansas. Upon graduation from the University, she spent an extended time in Cape Town and in Switzerland; a talented artist, she later worked as a clothing designer in Dallas. She was a co-founder of Hugo's Restaurant (named for her father) in Fayetteville, and lived for several years in Winslow, where both her parents were members of generations of Washington County families. She is survived by her brothers Philip, Allen, and Stephen in Australia and Tasmania, and by many friends resident in South Africa and in Arkansas. This belated notice of her death is published on her birthday. May she rest in peace.
