Shelly Rae Curran

Shelly Rae Curran passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, in Farmington, Arkansas at the age of 55 following a nine-month battle of stage IV Stomach & Liver cancer. She was born on October 3, 1963, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Tommy and Beatrice (Lang) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Bryse Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Ron Curran of Farmington; one son, Ryan Pinkerton and wife Kasha of West Fork; two daughters, Raka' Pinkerton of Rogers and Rylee Curran of Farmington; two stepsons, David Curran and wife Samantha of Little Rock; Patrick Curran of Fayetteville; one stepdaughter, Catie Wiggy and husband Seth of Frederick, Colorado; her father Tommy and his wife Marsha Johnson of Cookson, Oklahoma; her brother Cliff Johnson and wife Ranae of Cookson, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren, Rowan Pinkerton, Sybil Curran, Ben Wiggy, and Calli Wiggy. Shelly lit up every room she walked into and was loved by so many. Shelly was a Cosmetologist who graduated from Fayetteville Beauty College in 2005 and loved all things hair. She spent most of her time chasing and caring after her kids and her granddaughter. She loved traveling, landscaping, interior decorating, watching movies, jamming out to music in her car, shopping, and being with family and friends. She was an active volunteer for many school functions with all three kids. Shelly regularly attended Cross Church in Fayetteville. She had the biggest heart and will be missed every single day. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 25th from 6-8 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. A celebration of Shelly's life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26th at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, 4520 N. Crossover Rd. Fayetteville, Ark., 72764.
