William Byars Carter

William Byars Carter, 83, of Lowell passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born March 1, 1936 in Lowell, Arkansas to Feaster and Bonnie Byars Carter. Bill served in the United States Navy and graduated from the University of Arkansas. He was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed a lifetime of recitals and ball games. Bill is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenneth Carter. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Shirley Carter of the home; two daughters, Missy Beeman and husband David of Lowell and Sarah Perdue and husband Craig of Lowell; one brother, Jim Carter and wife Carol of Lowell; three grandchildren, Sadie, Ella and Will and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale with Gary Thomas officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
