Shirley Ann Phillips-Patton

Shirley Ann Phillips-Patton (October 15, 1943 to August 20, 2019). It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Ann Phillips-Patton announces her passing on Tuesday, August 20, after a brave fight against Alzheimer's. Shirley passed away at the age of 75 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Ark. Shirley will be remembered lovingly by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Phillips, and by their four children, Sharon Phillips of Fayetteville, Ark., Karen Phillips of Tulsa, Okla., Patricia and husband Gary Heise of Twin Oaks, Okla., and Ronnie Phillips of Springdale. She will also be remembered lovingly by her two grandchildren, Shelby Heise and husband Corbin Thornbrough of Austin, Texas, and Nathan and wife Katherine Heise of Tulsa. Shirley deeply loved her family. She cherished time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her bright smile and quick laugh were a hallmark of family gatherings and holidays. Shirley had a large heart for animals and adored her two dogs Heidi and Sam. Shirley had a passion for music, art, and crocheting. She dedicated 15 years to work at Tyson and an additional 12 years of work at Walmart. Shirley brought joy to many lives. She will be missed dearly. A celebration of life and graveside services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 31, in Hugoton, Kan. Memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be made to Circle of Life Hospice ( nwacircleoflife.com) or The Alzheimer's Association ( alz.org ).
