Alton F. Inman

Alton F. Inman of Little Flock passed away August 10,2019. He was born February 3, 1931 in Highland Park, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents Perry Julian & Henrietta Marie (Geis) Inman. He graduated from Excelsior Springs Missouri High School with the class of 1949. He was a veteran of the Korean War with 4 years of service. He attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo. He worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 18 years during this time he moved to Rogers, Ark. In 1971 he and his partners started Northwest Tire Service, Inc. which he owned till he retired in 2010. He loved baseball especially the Kansas City Royals, spent many years raising and racing Appaloosa Horses and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his ex-wife Barbara Inman and their children; two daughters and one son, Pamela Inman of Oklahoma, Lisa Hixon and her husband Jim of Little Flock, Stuart Inman and his partner Deena Weidman also of Little Flock, as well as two grandchildren Tamra McGinnis and husband Preston of Fayetteville, and James Hixon Jr. of Little Flock, and seven great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. One sister, Patricia Duncan of Elkhorn, Neb., and three nieces and one nephew.
