Ellis Lloyd Sutton

Ellis Lloyd Sutton, 74 of Springdale passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at his home. He was born October 3, 1943 in Texarkana, Texas to James and Margye Hooker Sutton. Ellis was an Engineer for 35 years. He served four years in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale where he taught the Grandpa Devo class. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, woodworking, metal works, gardening and fishing. He liked going to thrift stores and attending estate sales. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Dyian Sutton of the home; two daughters, Charity Celeste Sutton Mohorn and husband Seth of Springdale and Hope LaNae Moss of Springdale; three brothers, Douglas Wayne Sutton of Texarkana, Texas, James Lenox Sutton of Mabelvale, Arkansas and Richard Lee Sutton and wife Jan of Little Rock, Arkansas; one sister, Sherry Lenore Sutton Jaggers and husband Ken of Benton, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Ian Austin Sutton Mohorn, Eli Wyatt Sutton Mohorn, Dyllon Ellis Moss, Dawson James Moss and Ashlynn Dyian Moss. Funeral services will be Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale with Harry Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday beginning at 9am at the church.
