Robert James Cornwell, Sr.

Robert James Cornwell Sr., 80, of Fayetteville went to be with his Lord Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was born January 14, 1938 in Gibbsboro, New Jersey the son of Harry and Florence Cornwell. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Berlin, N.J. and also a member of Mission Boulevard Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Cornwell of the Home; children, Robert Cornwell Jr. of Lowell, Arkansas, Andrew Cornwell of San Antonio, Texas, Doreen Kruckner of Castroville, Texas; sister, Eileen Whitmarsh of Capemay, New Jersey; 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday September 22, 2018 at Mission Boulevard Baptist Church under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas. Burial will be in Elm Springs cemetery following the service.
