Rodney Lee York

Rodney Lee York, 80, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was born July 23, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa to Leonard and Phyllis Hart York. He was preceded in death by his parents. Rodney was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Rodney was retired after 30 years with R.J. Reynolds. He was past treasurer of the American Legion. He enjoyed antique cars, was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Glenna Ross York of the home; three sons, Gary Morrison and wife, Marta of Lowell, Ark., Larry Morrison and wife, Tammy of Hardeeville, S.C. and Randy Morrison and wife, Chris of Fayetteville, Ark.; two daughters, Brenda Flannery of Springdale, Ark. and Vicky Sikes and her husband, Jerry of Owasso, Okla.; a brother, Loran York and wife, Karen and their children, Lori, Jodi and Bryan of Yukon, Okla.; six grandchildren, Ryan, Shelby, Holly, Nicolas, Natalia, Russell and Jeremy; and one great-grandchild, Abby. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Beard's Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Beard's Chapel.
